Following two successful projects with Vengrove at Eastcheap and Moorgate, we secured this further project with them at Film House through competitive tender for both the enabling and main works contracts.

This project involves the reconfiguration and extension of a large office development in Wardour Street, Soho, and the merging of this building with an adjacent building in St Anne’s Court. The office space is to be occupied by WeWork, with two restaurants/cafés at street level.

The works comprise the demolition of the main core and its relocation within the building, upgrading and extending the façades, with a reconfigured mansard and roof top extension with roof terrace. The link to St Anne’s Court is to be constructed to fully integrate both buildings. The building is to be fully fitted out and serviced to Cat A office standard, incorporating feature exposed services, raised floors, and commuter and toilet facilities.

Film House is a landmark building in Wardour Street within the heart of London’s renowned Soho area, and the local area is very congested with a variety of local stakeholders. We have worked with these local businesses, residents and Westminster City Council to plan the works so as to minimise the disruption to all in the proximity. This project continues our high-profile involvement in developments within this challenging locality.
