Comprising the conversion of an existing office building into 23 one-, two- and three-bedroom luxury apartments in the heart of Victoria, the existing building was completely stripped back to its steel frame and concrete floor shell, so that the top two floors of one wing could be removed and replaced with a larger cantilevered footprint.

The façades were rebuilt in a pattern of repetitive bands and columns of wet cast reconstituted stone, breaking through panels of traditional red brickwork
with full height glazed windows and doors. Construction of a roof extension formed of steelwork and clad in zinc provides an additional storey on top
of the building.

All cores were demolished internally with a new flight of stairs and lift installed and the apartments fitted out to the exacting standards required of
our Client.
