Following on from our initial strip out contract of this 1970s built corporate headquarters building in the City of London, we were asked to submit a two-stage tender for the main works.

These works are for the full Cat A office refurbishment, along with building enhancements. The existing external atrium is to be partially infilled and a new glazed roof installed to provide an internal full height atrium to the building. All the external windows are to be replaced, with some modifications to the fenestration design to give the building a more modern appearance.

Internally one of the existing retail units is to be remodelled to provide a larger reception and frontage onto Eastcheap. The existing basement car park and car lift are to be reconfigured to provide potential standalone space with its own entrance. A new roof terrace is to be constructed to provide a unique roof top garden and entertaining space, along with lift extension and hospitality suite.

Internally the building is to be fully fitted out with a modern feel including exposed structure and services, prior to a final Cat B fit out by WeWork to provide their new facility in the City.
