This project comprised the refurbishment and upgrading of 28 patient rooms, adjoining corridors, reception and nurse station, within the live environment of a private hospital in Surrey. The works were carried out in phases to minimise the number of rooms out of service at any one time.

The rooms and corridors were stripped back, along with the en-suite bathrooms, which were remodelled to form wet rooms, creating a larger space for showers
and sanitary fittings. Works also included service alterations and diversions to suit the new layouts, with new medical gas supplies and drainage installations.
The existing wiring was altered to accommodate the phasing and then replaced during the works to each of the individual areas.

The rooms and corridors were refurbished incorporating new serviced bed head units, doors, ironmongery, ceilings, lighting, carpets and decoration. Parts
of the corridors remained live during our works and regular liaison was a key factor in providing our Client with clear and concise information, ensuring
the Hospital could continue to function without unplanned disruption.
