Our works consisted of the sub-division of an existing retail warehouse to provide two retail units. Within each unit a mezzanine floor was constructed. Due to the low bearing capacity of the ground floor slab, piled foundations for these mezzanines were constructed with pile caps cut through the existing ground floor slab. Externally the roof was repaired, cladding replaced with new, and new glazed shop fronts and free standing canopy structures installed. Access and car parking was shared with Homebase who remained operational throughout the duration of the project.
