Buckingham Gate, London SW1

The development at 24 Buckingham Gate, close to the Mall, comprised the fit-out of nine two and three bedroom apartments within an existing 10-storey building.  This project was originally tendered as a fast-track fit-out contract with an eight week lead in, in order to facilitate the pre-fabrication of bespoke joinery, coordinate the M&E services and confirm and set ceiling heights.

Floor space on the lower four floors increased due to the extended rear elevation.  The top two floors of the building form a duplex penthouse apartment.

The apartments were fully fitted with timber flooring, marble tiling, Italian kitchens and bespoke joinery with specialist fumed oak, redwood and Tabu white veneers.  A bespoke glass lift is the feature of the communal space with polished plaster to stair core walls.
