Waverley Building

Following the oil depot explosion at the Buncefield depot we were asked to attend site, initially to make this large distribution building safe, to enable the existing tenant to remove stock and temporarily relocate their operations. We then undertook extensive surveys and investigations and negotiations with our Client and their insurers to return this unit to its former condition. The unit is a steel framed construction, clad with metal sheet roofing and walls, with a large office area, clad with curtain walling. The complete envelope required replacement, as did much of the main steel frame; reconstruction works included fully servicing the unit and full fit-out of the large office area.
