57 Broadwick St, London W1

This is our fourth project for Shaftsbury Carnaby Ltd, and continues our successful relationship, not only with the Client but also the Design Team.  The existing building was well known as the Jaeger Headquarters and the project involves transforming this dated office building into a prime retail and office development, whilst maintaining the existing seven-storey residential tower.

The existing façades will be removed on two elevations, and they will be extended out and re-clad with traditional and pre-fabricated brick and tile elements.  New aluminium windows and curtain walling will then be installed.  A new partial floor will be constructed at fourth floor level and a plant area formed on the rear elevation of the building.

The basement level will be retained for parking with retail shells occupying the ground floor and part of the first floor.  The remainder of the building will be fitted out to CAT A office standard and two high specification residential apartments will be provided at fourth floor level.

The residential tower will remain inhabited for the duration of the works and the fire escape access through the site will be maintained at all times.
